For this project, I was responsible for modeling and texturing a detailed Vespa scooter for a school project. Using Maya, I combined both hard surface and organic modeling techniques to accurately capture the sleek and curved design of the Vespa. I paid close attention to my geometry, ensuring smooth surfaces while maintaining efficiency for rendering.
The texturing process was done within Maya, where I applied realistic materials, including a teal metallic chassis, rubber tires, and chrome details. I used the Arnold renderer to achieve high-quality lighting and shading, refining my workflow for realistic reflections.
This was one of the first significant models I've done, It took the most time out of my other projects. This project utilized a lot of different tools and techniques that I was not used to, but I'm glad I used them so I can incorporate them in other models. As I was still relatively new to Maya when creating this, it was a huge stepping stone to get to where I am today.
